Volunteers Needed

"Work divided is in that matter shortened"

We're not saying it takes a village... we're saying the more the merrier!

A lot of work goes into putting on an event and if you've got some time we have a variety of ways to volunteer.

TASKS are specific actions that can be completed relatively quickly.

PROJECTS are a collection of tasks for either an individual or a committee and take place over a period of time.

ONGOING WORK involves maintenance over a long period of time - not necessarily at lot of work at any given moment - but a commitment of longer duration.

If you want to volunteer, just click the email link at end of the item.

Check back often as these will be changing over time

TASKS:

Event Set Up - come early! email Gail

Event Clean Up - stay late! email Gail

Create a table centerpiece -  for 'talented and crafty grads' - these will be given as prizes at the event. email Gail

We need some memorabilia - we'd like to display a few large and some class momentos. A football helmet, pompoms or cheerleading outfits, sports jerseys, graduation invitations/programs/tassels etc. We need you to sign up before you go to the trouble of hauling something in so the display can be organized and set up in advance so please email Gail

Website Page Creation - need a person or two to help 'design' new web pages as we need them. Share ideas, develop the wording, get more than one perspective - not HTML required though it's available if you prefer to work using it rather than the WYSIWYG templates. email Susan

PROJECTS:

Host the Zoom Room (tentative) - we are thinking of offering, for a small fee, the opportunity for classmates who cannot come (for health or other reasons) 15 minute slots between 7-9 pm (after the happy hour and buffet) in a Zoom Room where attendees can drop in and chat online. A schedule would be printed and we would announce their arrival in the room but need a person or two to handle the laptop hookup etc. More details or  email Gail

Forum Monitor(s) - subscribe to one (or more) of the Classmate Forums to act as the monitor - make sure questions are answered and everything is working. email Susan

ONGOING WORK:

Website Maintenance - we need at least more than one person familiar with how this entire website is set up. If you are tech savvy, have worked with websites - no HTML required - we could use you. email Susan
